State of Women in AI 2026: A Global Study
She Loves Data is taking part in the State of Women in AI 2026 survey by WomenTech Network and AI Builders Network. The global study explores how women build, lead and work with AI, and we're inviting our She Loves Data community to take part and share their journey and perspectives.
September 17, 2026

AI is changing how we work, build, make decisions, and grow our careers. But while much of the conversation focuses on what AI can do, we also want to understand how women are actually experiencing this change.
That’s why we’re proud to be supporting the State of Women in AI 2026, an independent global study by WomenTech Network and Women AI Builders exploring how women build, grow, and lead AI in the Human-Agentic Era.
The research examines the experiences of women active in technology and AI communities across:
AI adoption and practical application
Skills development and capability building
Career growth and leadership pathways
Responsible AI and governance
Organizational readiness for the AI era
These are conversations that are already happening across our community, and we want to be part of them. As AI becomes part of more roles and career paths, we want to understand how women are building their skills, adopting AI in their work, and navigating career growth and leadership.
Let’s make sure our voices are part of the conversation.
If you're building, leading, working with, researching, or studying AI, we’d love to hear your perspective.
Take part in the State of Women in AI 2026 →
The survey is open until 20 September 2026.
Individual responses are anonymous and reported only in aggregate.
We’re looking forward to seeing what the research reveals and to sharing the findings with our community.
